Hours of work: The company’s standard hours of work are 9.00am – 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch.

Stakeholders:Internal Team (Arrow Business Development Managers, Key Account Managers), Resellers, Vendor 

Few Words About the Team:  You will be part of a dynamic vendor sales team based in our office in Newmarket. Business Management position managing Forescout & Skybox within our Network & Security team

What You Will Be Doing at Arrow? 

  • The aim of the role is to have full responsibility for acquiring, developing, and retaining business within a named set of partner accounts across the Vendor Portfolio 
  • Managing the overall account relationship by providing strategic service and support to assigned customer base 
  • Working with Arrow Account Managers to identify the key reseller partners with good potential to develop sales of the Vendor’s products and services 
  • Driving the Sales function, responsible for Sales Support activities for the Order to Invoice process (quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring on-time delivery of orders, and troubleshooting other customer problems) 
  • Acting as a key contact for the vendor and developing a strong knowledge of Vendor product portfolio 

Specific Tasks:

Working closely with the vendors you will own the responsibility to agree focus and activities culminating in the development of business plans and then ensuring that these are executed upon with quarterly vendor reviews to track progress

  • Planning sales and marketing activities with the Arrow Marketing team, vendors, and customers.
  • Working with resellers either directly or via team members to maximize pro-activity levels and motivate them to keep selling the vendor’s solutions.
  • Arranging ongoing or update training for both AECS sales and resellers’ sales teams.
  • Working closely alongside the BDM’s to ensure the objectives and goals of the organization and our vendors are achieved.
  • Working with the Professional Services Group to ensure we have the appropriate level of trained engineers and services on offer and are maximizing sales of these (such as installation, training, advanced technical support, hardware support etc.).
  • Working with the Product Management Team to ensure price lists are accurate and inventory levels correct.

The successful candidate will be a professional salesperson who can demonstrate an established career of achievement within a sales environment.

The successful candidate is likely to be a seasoned professional sales or commercial person who can demonstrate an established (likely to be a minimum of 5 years’ experience) career of achievement within an IT environment.

  • Extremely self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach.
  • Outgoing personality combined with an unselfish, team player mentality.
  • Strong level of numeracy, totally comfortable using a PC for communication, planning, forecasting, calendaring etc.
  • Results driven / a strong negotiator
  • Able to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
