Department Overview

This role is part of the Strategy function within the Strategy, Digital & Innovation (SDI) LOB at I&P. This role will help enable the organization to operate in a manner consistent with its vision, goals, and objectives. The role will be responsible for providing leadership support to the organization to help drive greater operational efficiency by simplifying, standardizing, and centralizing key capabilities and initiatives across SDI. With the right people, processes, and tools in place, this role will help drive an integrated, consistent, and efficient operating model across SDI.

About the Role

The SDI Strategy function is seeking experienced professionals to help identify, develop and deliver solutions to complex and challenging business problems using a variety of approaches, methodologies, tools and platforms.
This is a key role within the SDI organization, which seeks to seed and grow a culture of digital expertise and innovation across the function as well as harness ‘out-of-the-box' solutions and technologies to achieve superior business outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, who thrives as an independent contributor, yet is able to leverage leadership acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

  • Helps define and measure metrics to capture improvements expected from solutions
  • Builds presentations to senior leaders for sponsorship approvals, funding requests, etc.
  • Obtains feedback from engagements and synthesizes learning to continuously improve methodologies and outcomes of engagements

  • Strong ability to deal with structured and unstructured information, as well as synthesize tribal knowledge and learnings from various sources
  • Adept at working with data and having strong understanding of business analytics
  • Great at communication – written, verbal and visual – should have the ability to tailor content and messaging to audiences at varying levels of seniority

  • Ability to forge strong working relationships with peers and colleagues across teams and various levels within the organization
  • Effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.
