This exciting role offers opportunity to:

1. Develop and drive outsourcing products delivery, including products, spec and service requirement, price, quality, payment term, packaging & logistics, etc.;

2. Enhance the supplier development capability and build up strategic supplier partnership; accountable for the end-to-end demand and supply planning activities and supply chain continuous improvement activities;

3. Management of supplier’s relationship: onboarding vendor process, contracts negotiation and certifications to meet quality requirements;

4. Build up internal capabilities & processes on adjacent product quality control;

5. Drive the program management for outsourcing products to ensure product delivery with competitiveness in spec, cost, quality and time to market;

6. Establish a high performing team through effective hiring, placement, development and motivation, build up a pro-active group of self-starting employees with a “customer first” attitude and change agility.

Qualifications

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree above, major in engineering, business, marketing or masters Business Administration is a plus.

+ 15+years of experience and a proven track record in supplier management and business development

+ Proven success in developing strategic suppliers which supports business needs

+ Proven success in team management; experience of starting up a new team is a plus

+ Understand the industry and market of UPS & adjacent products

+ Solid supplier development & management skills

+ Knowledge of engineering, power electronics

+ Business acumen & strategic thinking ability, including seeing the big picture and think like a businessman

+ Ability to question the status quo and drive change successfully

+ Ability to influence and lead convincingly, to drive cross-functional teams to success in challenging and ambiguous situations

+ Ability to effectively interact with others, establishing open, candid, and trusting relationships

+ Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills

+ Results and proactive solution driven, the ability to think critically to overcome potential business hurdles to complete tasks

+ Ability to operate at a strategic level
