Requisition Number: S_200560 Department: Vet Diagnostic Center-7278 Description of Work: University of Nebraska- Lincoln is hiring multiple positions on 1st and 2nd shifts to fill Lab Technician postings on different levels (I,II, III ) based on education and experience.    Contribute to the mission of the SARS -CoV-2 project by performing or processing specimens submitted to the Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center under close to moderate supervision. Maintain compliance with NVDC QA/QC practices and accreditation. Minimum Required Qualifications: High School diploma plus 6 months of lab or related experience in college level classroom or professionally.    Precision, accuracy and attention to detail necessary. Familiarity with basic lab procedures and decontamination of equipment, instruments, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology or related field plus one year laboratory experience required; equivalent education/experience considered.    Technical knowledge and ability necessary.
