Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Technical Project Lead to help support an exciting new Cloud Service Offering contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS).

The Technical Project Lead will:
  • Responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation from original inception to final completion.
  • Serves as a single point of contact. Interfaces with all parties involved in the project including developers, administrators, engineers and customers.
  • Gathers customers' requirements and establish project scope and objectives.
  • Prepares detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.
  • Allocates resources to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
  • Coordinates and conducts meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Reviews deliverables and ensures adherence to quality standards.
  • Manages the integration of vendortasks, andevaluates vendor deliverables.
  • Provides recommendations and takes action to resolve any management related issues.
  • Responsible for large projects\programs or significant segment of a large complex project\program.
  • Leads team on large projects\programs or significant segment of large complex projects\programs.
  • Translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.
  • Works with client to identify business requirements and develops the proposal.
  • Subsequently leads a team in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing tasks of a project\program or segment of a project\program to produce the solution deliverable.
  • Executes a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, test and final delivery.
  • Formulates partnerships between customer, suppliers and staff.
  • Anticipates potential project\program related problems.
  • Utilizes refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or mitigating solution, project\program and business risk.
  • Understands customer, industry and business trends.
  • Applies this understanding to meet project\program objectives.
  • As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.
  • Analyzes information and situations and implement actions, independently and or through the management team to ensure project\program objectives are met.
  • Analyzes new and complex project\program related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.

Required Qualifications:
  • ActiveDoDSecret clearance
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 6years of experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
  • 2 years experiencemanaging CloudService OfferingProjects
  • Proven project management experience
  • Ability tothrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

Desired Qualifications:
  • PMP, ITIL, and/orSixSigmacertifications


The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
