This PSE job is basically focused on PVD splutter and eBeam products. The candidate willtake care of display customers inJapan. The high travel frequency is onto Germany (for training), Japan, and China.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform task independently, with minimum guidance and direction.
  • Works closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
  • Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
  • Knowledge of 2 or more processes on 1 or more technologies
  • Performs Tier 2 / Process qualification, established & develop BKM’s.
  • Follows all IP guidelines.
  • Engages with customers to understand customer roadmap, interpret the technology needs, and identify opportunities for Applied engagement.
  • Drives the adoption of new technology at the customer site. Works closely with customers to demonstrate and introduce new technologies at customer sites, through Demos, on site evaluations, Joint Development Programs, and new tool qualifications.
  • Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.
  • Any other assign tasks.

  • Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.

  • Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others in the discipline

  • No Supervisory responsibilities but provide guidance to less experience team member.

  • Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents

  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies.

Interpersonal Skills:
  • Explains technical information within the team.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Engineering).
  • Experience: Preferably 2 - 4 years.
  • Language Spoken: English / Mandarin, Written: English/ Mandarin,
  • Flexible working hours and work independently by the projects/objectives
  • Preferably has or develops understanding of R2R substrates, R2R Metrology and R2R Coating parameter.
  • Thin film coating experience for battery process will be added advantage.
