The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Space and Launch organization has an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual that has demonstrated involvement in people development activities to be an Engineering Resources Project Management Specialist, reporting to the Satellite Systems Engineering Resources Manager.

This position is located in El Segundo, California but will be required to support various activities across Southern California in addition to other sites.

In this role, you will use negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments. You will be responsible for the development and update of task specific, plans, deliverables and schedules.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the hiring process activities.
  • Supports External Technical Affiliation (ETA) activities.
  • Supports Engagement activities.
  • Supports the development program's employee activities.
  • Supports special projects as assigned.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo, California.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  A final U.S. Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience with Microsoft office tools
  • Experience creating and presenting packages to teams and/or leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with presenting to senior leadership and executives.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
