Ontada's Provider Education & Engagement (PE&E) team works with oncology drug manufacturers to educate those providers supported by McKesson, and to gather and share insights from providers to drug manufacturers. It also offers a training program (Oncology University) for drug manufacturers and other stakeholders wanting to better understand community oncology.

This position is responsible for the growth strategy and operations related to Ontada's market research portfolio (advisory boards, surveys, etc.), as well the planning and delivery or Oncology University programs to manufacturers, and the development and execution of a growth strategy, including line extensions.

Position Description
  • Working in collaboration with the sales operations and sales teams, plan and execute manufacturer commitments around provider conferences/events.
  • Participate in the general planning of McKesson provider meetings and represent the interest of the manufacturer customer segment. For a limited number of events, act as the primary meeting owner.
  • Identify, secure, and oversee exhibit, podium, sponsorship activities at MSH provider meetings. Ensure manufacturer and attendee satisfaction with effective audience generating strategies, and high-quality content.
  • Oversee activities related to focus groups and advisory panels
  • Oversee activities related to practice-based symposia including discussing and negotiating requirements with practices, develop agenda aligned with practice objectives, secure funding and oversee execution.
  • Coordinate and execute virtual education programs including development of registration site and working closely with virtual vendors to build platform and ensure manufacture engagement opportunities are executed meeting customer expectations

Adhere to ICARE and iLEAD, all McKesson policies and procedures as well as HIPAA and other laws and regulations regarding privacy and other healthcare related matters.

Minimum Requirements
3 years' experience in project management and demonstrated leadership skills.

Critical Skills
  • 5 years of project management and healthcare experience (healthcare events preferred)
  • Knowledge of Pharma-Biotech Industry preferred
  • Strong customer focus required
  • Exceptional communication skills required
  • Experience and/or understanding of focus groups and advisory panels preferred
  • Advanced computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Pro)

Additional Knowledge and Skills
  • Solid knowledge of project management. Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.
  • Exceptional communications skills required
  • Proven ability to present to and interact with all levels of the organization, including external customers, physicians, clinical staff, and administrative staff
  • Ability to handle several priorities at once
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to work in fast paced and changing environment

Education
  • College degree preferred (business, marketing, healthcare administration, or like)
