Job Description:

Provide IT support for the Southern California Integrated Wireless Network (IWN) and office network including deployment, security, end-use guidance, as well as general IT process improvement, to the IWN radio network and internal office network. Support IWN personnel field operations desktops, field laptops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, servers and software.

You will assist FBI personnel with IT infrastructure, such as installing, updating and maintenance of monitoring stations as well as any additional tasking by the FBITelecommunication Manager (TM).

Other responsibilities include security policy adherence, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, data integrity, IT system monitoring, application and implementation guides. You will ensure the IT system is compatible with current systems and routinely perform updates for potential system upgrade.

The ability to build a database and create user web access to the data is highly desirable, or someone who will commit to getting those skills and putting them to use.

Candidates MUST possess an active Top Secret Clearance to be considered.

Required skills include:

- Server 2003 thru 2016 (Install, Licensing, and Management)
- Windows File Server Knowledge (Linux File Server knowledge a plus)

- Windows Desktop (Win2000 thru Win10)
- Desktop Imaging, Backup, Troubleshooting and Repair

- Microsoft Office (Office 365, SharePoint)
- Windows Networking (Minimum: TCP/IP, Routing, Troubleshooting)

- Basic Cisco knowledge

- Firewall (Linux untangle)

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of Sys Admin and Network experience.

Willingness to learnthe radio side of the system is a plus.
