The Staff Research Associate II (SRA II) will be part of a major project discovering mechanisms of tumor resistance to immunotherapy, including CAR T cells and checkpoint blockade, in various types of cancer. To this end, SRA II will perform mouse work (tumor cell and CAR T cells injections, monitoring, harvests), multi-parameter flow and mass cytometry (CyTOF), fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), multiplexed fluorescence microscopy and single-cell RNA sequencing; prepare RNA and DNA; perform PCR, weaning, tail biopsy, and blood processing; maintain records of mice. The SRA II is expected to work well as part of a team and have enthusiasm for the practice of science.
