The Direct Mail Creative Account consultant is a member of the larger Marketing Delivery Team who is responsible for developing and delivering integrated campaign solutions with an omni-channel mindset. Through the years, our platforms have evolved to support increasing version complexity, increasing cross-channel strategies, and operational excellence. The teams directly support campaign execution for direct mail, statements, e-mail, customer incentives, collateral execution, sales support materials, and URL development. Additionally, they are responsible for Channel Execution across our OM-based channels, including digital channels, Call Centers, and Financial Centers. The collective teams focus on designing streamlined processes and cross-channel efficiencies. As a result, they support over 4 billion customer impressions per year with nearly flawless quality.
Over the past three years, the teams have experienced a 60% increase in campaigns delivered. The growth is supported through a combination of specific initiatives as well as organic productivity increases. As new work is integrated into our workstreams, the teams identify ways to integrate that work into our most efficient processes, maintaining a high automation level. Teammates are consistently engaged in driving innovation and ongoing simplification to improve capacity and productivity. The teams focus on designing highly flexible platforms and processes. As a result, they are able to support increasing personalization across a variety of channels.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? (Responsibilities)
Direct Mail Creative Account Consultant
The Direct Mail Creative Account consultant is responsible for managing the creative execution of direct mail marketing initiatives across several LOBs, supporting multiple monthly version programs, achieving key deliverable due dates and ensuring accurate implementation for all marketing program requirements. This role incorporates strategy, testing initiatives, regulatory disclosures and branding guidelines into direct mail packages and works closely with other Card Acquisition LOBs including Advertising, Legal, List Management, Disclosure Management and external lettershops to manage process workflows and the complete communication of all end to end direct mail execution and production activity.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Partner with Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to incorporate strategy, testing initiatives, regulatory disclosures and branding guidelines into direct mail packages.
  • Collaborate with internal and external advertising agencies and engage in upstream creative development to optimize production routines.
  • Ensure accuracy of production inputs and manage program requirements surrounding all output, supporting change-management where needed.
  • Utilize manufacturing platform designed to support prospect-level creative development; build and audit logic to support complex versioning (pricing, value prop, strategy, marketing content) within each campaign.
  • Conduct thorough auditing routines to evaluate the execution and accuracy of the intended marketing strategy.Test, audit and release channel-ready creative.
  • Drive timely adherence on all production deliverables across production, marketing and vendor teams to ensure target mail drop dates.
  • Evaluate program requirements and architect approaches that will optimize cost, quality and schedule. Continually innovate.
