Component Quality Inspector

Job Description:

What You will Be Doing

Duties / Activities :

  • Will be assigned to a Senior CQE to assist on the completion of the needed activities
  • Take inspection photo under low optical microscope.
  • Feedback electronic components visual and mechanical defects
  • Perform X-ray inspection
  • Take out and put back samples to its carrier.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Physical  demands and working conditions:

  • This position involves sitting, standing and or walking for considerable
    periods of time.

What We Are Looking For

Required Education , Experience, and Skills.

  • Higher Nitec in Electronics Engineering
  • Knows how to operate X-ray machine, Decapsulation machine, Baking Oven
    and other basic electronics testing tools/equipment
  • Experience with inspection and classification of various semiconductor
    and electronic parts.
  • Experience with measuring device such as caliper
  • Working knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) in handling
    components in an Electrostatic Protective Area (EPA) is required.
  •  Knowledge in RoHS directive is preferred
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System preferred.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing workload and business
    pressures.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and prioritizing skills.
  • Keen attention to details.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft software applications e.g., Outlook,
    Excel, Word, Power Point, etc
