Join us as a Compliance Officer within the Americas Surveillance Team and support the Team’s mission of serving as a robust, independent second line of defense within Chief Risk and Compliance division of Credit Suisse. The Surveillance Officer will be tasked with identifying potential market abuse, client abuse, insider trading, and/or breaches of the bank’s conduct rules and policies, as well as regulatory rules and standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Review and analyze trade surveillance alerts and/or reports related to firm or client trading. Review and analyze communication alerts related to employees’ written communications. Properly document the review and disposition. * Review and investigate alerts generated by surveillance systems and escalate in accordance with the Global Alert Disposition process. * Liaise and collaborate with Compliance, Front Office and other business groups to manage escalated cases and potential changes regarding surveillance software and systems. * Communicate surveillance findings to management in a clear and concise manner, as well as interacting with legal and other compliance personnel. * Assist with the design and implementation of new surveillances as well as the refinement of existing ones. Interacting with IT on the specific design and testing of new surveillances. * Work on ad-hoc inquiries, special projects, or regulatory request. * Building and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders around the globe. TheAMER Surveillance Team covers a variety of business including Fixed Income, Futures, Foreign Exchange, Prime Services, Equities, and EquityDerivatives products across Investment Banking, IBCM, and International Wealth Management/Asset Management businesses. *Your future colleagues* The AMER surveillance is part of the Global Surveillance function, with staff located across the globe including Raleigh, London, Wroclaw, and Pune. The AMER Surveillance Team covers both global markets and International Wealth Management across all of the Americas, including the US, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada. The team, which includes a variety of other analysts, Assistant Vice Presidents, and Vice Presidents is located throughout the Americas including New York, Raleigh, and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
