In this position, you will act as a Lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Our teams provide technology solutions to the LOBs and manage the application portfolios through the enablers of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and satisfaction. These LOBs include Auto; Card, Retail & Merchant Services; Home Lending; and Personal Loans within Consumer Lending.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work in our Consumer Lending Technology - Engineering team. The candidate will be actively engaged in design, and development of Microservice frameworks, Consume Lending Applications and Resiliency Framework solutions.

In this role, you will be building out backend platform, implementing new tools, work on important and new modernization. This is an opportunity to produce immediate impact by leveraging your strengths and past experience while learning new things. 

We are keenly interested in people with a passion to build Developer experience Development platform and Cloud Enablement platform to be used across 100's applications.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of Java experience
  • 2+ years of Spring experience
  • 2 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms in one or a combination of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
  • Knowledge and understanding of components such as framework, security or authentication, event driven architecture and tool sets for problem monitoring and solving
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in integrating with Redis cache 
  • Experience working with ElasticSearch
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science 
  • 2+ years of MongoDB experience or another NoSQL Database
  • 2+ years of microservices development experience


Job Expectations

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
IA-Des Moines: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
TX-DAL-Downtown Dallas: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
NC-Raleigh: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
