The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. The investments we are making will help the company create innovative digital banking experiences, and make it easier for customers to achieve their financial goals.

  • Join our team supporting designers enterprise-wide with world class tools for design, prototyping, and user testing
  • You will help build business case to support the tools strategy, and track and forecast usage for financial planning 
  • Run proof of concept and pilot programs
  • You will support contract negotiations and take responsibility to insure contract terms are followed
  • It will be critical to build relationships with internal partners in technology, risk, and security teams, as well as strong working relationships with our vendors
  • You will be responsible for completing ongoing third party risk assessment requirements and for implementing and maintaining risk controls 
  • You will document usage guidelines and communicate best practices to decentralized design teams 
  • Responsible for facilitating multiple work streams simultaneously. 
  • Processing access requests, shepherding requests through the approval flow, and responding to any issues that may arise. (This is temporary because we are establishing a process for Design Team Leads to take on these responsibilities in the very near future.
  • Creating an access request and approval plan that delivers the tool to teams with minimal friction while accommodating all security and compliance requirements.
  • Monthly user audits
  • Ensuring post-production TRIMS assessments are on our radar and completed on time.
  • Socialize, collect, and report transition plan by design team.
  • Encourage design teams to reduce InVision licenses by FY 2022 and reduce to zero licenses by FY 2023. (Currently predicting 55 InVision licenses going into FY 2023, but that will be an ongoing conversation.)
  • UserZoom SaaS UX research tool proof of concept.
  • dScout SaaS UX research tool productionalization.
  • Task determination, tracking, and reporting. (Determination because each tool onboarding project is quite different based on a number of variables. Consequently, no two projects are the same.)
  • Regular small/short meetings with various service teams within the bank. These are the experts whose partnership is critical to the successful launch of a new tool. They help me understand what is needed in order for them deliver their part of the project

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • xx years working on a design team in the role of designer, user researcher, or in a design operations role supporting designers 
  • 4+ years of  Project Management experience. 
  • Hands-on experience using industry leading design tools such as Figma, Sketch,  Adobe Suite, ProtoPie, Lottiefiles, Webflow, UserTesting, UserZoom, DScout, and others
  • Demonstrated attention to detail 
  • Track record of building strong working relationships 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without managing 
  • Experience implementing technology solutions at enterprise scale
  • Vendor management and negotiation experience
