Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Conducts literature review, analysis , and synthesis with an understanding of tobacco control research and determine what is credible research information. Writes and edits user guides and other translational products, translating complex information into âeverydayâ™ language for mass audiences. Develops layout and graphics for dissemination products. Preferred Qualifications Masterâ™s degree in public health, social work, social sciences, public policy or other related field. Experience translating complex information into âeverydayâ™ language for mass audiences. Experience with report design and developing graphics for effective communication of research/evaluation findings. Experience with tobacco prevention and cessation programs, research, or policies. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software ( e.g., Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator). Experience performing literature search, summary, and synthesis. Experience writing research/evaluation reports. Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office required. Ability to translate complex written information into simple terms. Strong attention to detail. Highly dependable and organized. Ability to work independently or as a part of a team. Ability to work with multiple project teams at any given time. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in related field; minimum two years of research/field experience. Grade R07-H Salary Range $15.77 - $26.83 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
