Position Title: Clinical Research Assistant Posting Number: R2100210 Employer: Research Foundation Salary Range: $38,000 - $41,000 FTE: 1.00 Position Summary: The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a highly motivated independent researcher who is interested in participating in translational research (Bench to bedside) with prior experience in molecular biology or pharmacology to work in the field of drug transporters and identify how they contribute to variable patient outcome. The lab focuses on therapeutics used in oncology and works with cell culture and animal models to study mechanisms regulating drug accumulation, efficacy and toxicity.    Job Duties: ·         Research laboratory duties to include work with cell cultures, in vitro experimentation, in vivo experimentation, animal care, and lab maintenance/documentation ·         Training mentees and students in the lab environment  ·         Assisting with scientific writing, data analysis  About UB The University at Buffalo is SUNY's most comprehensive public research university, and an outstanding place to work.
