- Provide leadership in managing Technical Facilities Operations and Construction Projects at assigned lab locations
- Responsible for managing and meeting scope, schedule, budget targets of all build base, fit- up and tool installation projects
- Provide on-site leadership in all phases of major construction projects
- Responsible for Technical Facilities assets, operations, maintenance and improvement; ensure maximum safety and building uptime
- Manages third part IFM service provider and other suppliers to ensure proper facilities operations and maintenance
- Responsible for developing and executing annual capital and expense plans
- Interfaces with BU executives and Lab users on both long and short terms lab requirements
- Responsible for safety and code compliance performance
Job Skills Required:
- Strong working experience as a project manager and facilities operations manager in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D laboratory facilities
- Knowledge and experience in base build, conversions, and tool installation design and construction criteria, procurement and supply chain
- Knowledge and Experience in facilities systems including but not limited to:
- Acid waste and exhaust, solvent waste and exhaust, chilled/condenser water, hot water, process chilled water & DI water, process gases, controls, and monitoring systems
- Fire Life Safety and Gas Life Safety Systems
- City Permit requirements, National Electrical Code, Building Codes and Fire Codes
- Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and requirements
- Building control systems
- Program management capability and experience in team leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of SPC, 8D, DMAIC, FMEA, SCADA (e.g. GE Cimplicity), CMMS (e.g. IBM Maximo) and others
- Proficient in Windows based software including Excel, Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint and AutoCAD
