Working in a highly collaborative team environment, this role provides leadership for all aspects of the FM service line within the GWS Enterprise Healthcare Sector. Key points of emphasis include ensuring that the Sector achieves FM business growth, financial performance, safety, compliance, and client satisfaction scorecard goals. In concert with both sector and global FM service line leadership, this role will:

• Develop the sector FM service line business plan and budget.

• Build a team of strong FM service line leaders who can execute the FM strategy and operations within the sector and on each client account team.

• Support the profitable growth of the FM service line through participation and leadership in new business pursuits, contract renewals and service expansions, transition management, conflict resolution with accounts, and efficient and cost-effective FM service delivery and operating models.

• Collaborate with other service lines and departments when an integrated service delivery model is proposed or in operation.

• Reduce business upsets and increase overall FM account performance through the promotion and utilization of FM best practices and processes and operational excellence initiatives.


• Develop, implement and monitor short and long range FM Business Plans and budgets for the sector, ensuring that key metrics are defined and achieved in support of the global FM strategy and targets, including financial growth, customer satisfaction and operational/service excellence goals.

• Leverage the FM Platform functional areas and subject matter experts, including Engineering, Critical Environments, Compliance, Health & Safety, Strategic Sourcing and Energy Services, to drive FM best practices and processes within client account teams. Continuously improve the quality/cost/performance of the FM service delivery within the sector.

• Build a team of strong and diverse FM service line leaders in the accounts within the sector. Accountable for supporting team performance plans, corrective action, reviews and award recommendations.

• Review FM staffing levels, staff performance, succession planning, training and recruitment to ensure that CBRE attracts and retains the best local talent in the geographic area.

• Ensure client account objectives are driven through the account management model.

• Lead and manage the FM talent pool to ensure growth of the business and client satisfaction is sustainable.

• Set management priorities and performance expectations for FM accounts.

• Address and resolve critical FM account and client relations issues. Escalate FM opportunities within the accounts and the sector to appropriate GWS leadership.

• Support sector leadership and account teams to monitor and modify the FM services deliverables in accordance with changes in client's business needs.

• Consult sector account teams, operations and finance to develop account-level FM business plans and annual budgets. Helps drive FM profitability and improved EBITDA margins across all accounts in the sector.

• Develop and review staffing and pricing models to ensure that FM contract compliance is achieved at optimum cost and target profitability.

• Act as a single point of contact for all FM staff to ensure that the FM Platform and sector mission is clearly understood and implemented within the Company.

• Monitor FM account performance in sector against client contract KPIs or SLAs. Take corrective action with sector leadership and/or accounts when results fall below established targets. Attend Strategic Evaluation Team or Operational Review Committee meetings with clients as appropriate.

• Support new FM business initiatives for the sector in conjunction with local, regional and global business development groups as appropriate, including due diligence and presentations.

• Ensure FM contract renewal success continues in accordance with global FM and GWS goals.

• Support M&A activities, where appropriate.

• A proven leader of people and business who motivates teams to effectively deliver operational and strategic targets.

• Enthusiastic and confident professional with excellent strategy, people, business development and leadership skills.

• Evidence of successfully leading from the front and improving multi-functional teams in a highly commercial and competitive environment.

• Able to solve advanced problems and effectively deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

• Minimum 10 to 12 years FM business development, account management and operations experience in developing and delivering complex property/ facilities management outsourced solutions to healthcare clients.

• Highly customer focused, with exceptional CRM experience.

• Skilled communicator in large groups and one-on-one.

• Combination of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, real estate and/or demonstrated senior level operational experience in facilities management.

• Strong leadership and management experience in FM related business within the Healthcare Sector, including experience successfully preparing for with healthcare regulatory compliance surveys.

• Proven expertise in enhancing the patient experience.

• Willingness to travel to support the needs of the business.

• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred.
