The Financial Crime Compliance team has an opportunity for a Vice President on the FCC Oversight, Governance, and Reporting team based in NY or Raleigh. The role will assist in the management of the governance framework and reporting of management information to appropriate governance forums. Responsibilities will include: * Managing FCC oversight and governance framework initiatives for FCC including developing and coordinating agendas for key forums and enhancing reporting processes and information flow within the team and across the globe. * Development and distribution of key reports and escalations to senior management and forums on behalf of FCC. * Assisting in the development of FCC related agendas and presentations for both internal forums and regulator meetings. * Assisting in the execution of supervisory control and oversight requirements on behalf of the FCC team The role reports directly to the Head of FCC Oversight, Governance, and Reporting *Your future colleagues* You will be joining a team of dedicated financial crime compliance professionals with backgrounds in banking, law and federal government. We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firm’s D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global cultural values The FCC team is looking for a proactive and highly motivated individual with the below skills and experience: * Proven experience of 5 years of compliance and/or risk management experience preferably with a focus on financial crime. * Equivalent work experience on improving oversight and governance frameworks with a focus on program effectiveness is preferred. * Knowledge of FCR Management concepts such as risk assessments, risk appetites, managing client risk, and management information. * Strong desire to get into the detail of control processes. With capability to challenge Key Risk Indicators/Key Performance Indicators. * Understanding of Investment Bank products and services; and the financial crime risk associated with those products/services. * Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, including an ability to present and provide clear, comprehensive input. * High attention to detail and ability to challenge the front office. * Outstanding presentation skills, both internally within the organization and externally presenting to the Regulators. * Track record of working on remediation/improvement efforts in a high stressed regulatory climate. * Ability to work well within a matrix organization.
