Job Description
The Clinical Training and Learning Development Manager is responsible for advancing training across the CVS Health Clinical Trial Services (CTS) Business Unit. The role will set the short and long-term vision to drive a training strategy which identifies, develops and implements effective training solutions for CTS colleagues. In the Clinical Training and Learning Development Manager role, you will promote collaboration, partnerships, and relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and sponsors.

What you'll do:
• Develop and design the training strategy to improve engagement, learning, knowledge retention and meet the evolution of the CTS organization or the industry standards.
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop and promote consistent training and behavioral messages across CTS ensuring quality, reliability, innovation, and cost efficiency.
• Provide expertise in learning science (how individuals learn) to deliver effective learning experiences.
• Identify, assess, and recommend new training modalities to advance CTS knowledge.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of effective training curriculums for enhancing selling competencies across CTS. Move CTS training become a competitive advantage
• Cultivate reputation of the training organization by consistently delivering strong, operationally efficient learning programs across all functional business areas.
• Analyze the characteristics of the various CTS business environments and design training programs to support the needs of training recipients.
• Ensure CTS colleagues and contract staff meet compliance requirements relating to knowledge, skill, and practices necessary for job performance and qualification.
• Ensure training supports local laws and legislative requirements.
• Conduct needs assessment and review instructional design standards.
• Monitor training health and compliance and respond with appropriate interventions.
• Identify, establish, and manage effective vendor partnerships to ensure agreed compliance to external training requirements.
• Leverage external networks and connections to continuously seek best practices to benefit the knowledge development of the organization.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in a learning and development, training or equivalent role supporting clinical research in a BioPharma / CRO / AMC / or Provider environment
• 5+ years of proven learning design experience using ADDIE/SAM or similar methodology, with expertise in understanding learning science (how individuals learn)

COVID Requirements

Education
Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development or related field or relevant experience
