Role

The role is offering an exciting mixture between finance and reporting, this is a perfect opportunity to progress career in Finance and work within a global organization. Reporting to Senior Financial Analyst, the role will support the Management Accounts Team in providing high quality analysis and business requirements and helping to drive the business’s overall management and strategy.

Responsibilities

Duties will include but are not restricted to:

Management Accounting

  • Perform weekly margin analysis and process financial adjustments as necessary
  • Monitor compliance with revenue recognition guidelines
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for margin adjustment control accounts
  • Assist with month end processes and reporting
  • Prepare reports and analysis as required by the business, incl. deal losses summary
  • Review and approve sales credit requests
  • Liaise with business’s Shared Service Centres to ensure correct coding and posting of invoices
  • Support with processing customer rebates, including reconciliations, credit notes, business queries
  • Compliance approval of business events to confirm adherence to antibribery regulations and internal policies
  • Support with quarterly commission calculations
  • Provide support to the wider business and address any queries
  • Build relationships with key finance stakeholders
  • Ad-hoc projects as requested by Senior Financial Analyst

Person specification

  • Recent graduate or individual at the beginning of their finance career
  • Ideally at least 1 year experience within finance environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly numerate
  • Sound analytical skills, good planning/organization skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Positive attitude with a strong leaning toward continuous improvement
  • Experience of working with Excel would be advantageous

Hours of Work

The company’s standard hours of work are 9.00am – 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch, however due to the nature of this role flexibility will be required in order to meet the needs of the role.
