Job Description
As the Product Innovation Senior Manager, you will be leading critical PBM initiatives focused on meeting the prescription benefit needs of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for designing solutions and operationally supporting innovations to Caremark’s growing suite of products. You will support evaluation of product strategies using internal and external data. Working closely with senior leaders and business partners at all levels of the organization you will help shape product strategy recommendations to rapidly deliver best in-class solutions.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Operationalizing new product offerings by solving business challenges, streamlining processes, and improving workflows to support new capabilities

- Leading all program and project management activities for large scale product development initiatives, to ensure new product innovations are delivered accurately and on-time to clients, members, and the enterprise

- Managing the product development IT roadmap, and leading IT projects that deliver new functionality, supporting product innovations and strategic business objectives

- Communicating effectively at all levels across the enterprise to understand stakeholder needs, identify problems, and design effective solutions

- Developing the project management framework that drives and supports the product development lifecycle for network and pricing product innovation

- Analyzing, evaluating, and overcoming program risks, and produce program reports for stakeholders

This role requires strong product development discipline, high accountability, independence, and expertise in financial / statistical analysis. To be successful, you will bring with you the ability to identify business problems, quickly evaluate solutions, and build recommendations to align leaders around the best approach. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate highly developed relationship-building skills to foster effective working relationships across the organization. Your proven track record of conducting quantitative and qualitative assessments and driving decisions that have achieved measurable results will be tested.

Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience within the healthcare industry or related experience (graduate level education may substitute for experience)
- Minimum 2 years consulting, innovation, or product/pricing strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in top tier management consulting firms
- Product development experience
- Competitive intelligence / consumer insights experience
- Experience in PBM pricing, contracting, strategy or networks

Education
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Masters Degree is preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
