Honeywell is currently recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator at the Correctional Facility located in Oliver BC, to support the P3 (Public Private Partnership) Business and will report to the Facility Manager. The successful candidate will have solid Administrative/Office Management experience as well as Commercial or Industrial Facilities experience or building knowledge as well as strong organizational skills, attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.

Position Overview

  • Provide first response to Facility Manager
  • Work closely with facility staff, Honeywell staff and subcontractors
  • Requisition purchase orders as required. Follow the Purchasing and A/P Process
  • Work in QFM management software to run reports, track and manage open work orders, input data from subcontractors and ensure accuracy by dispatch center.
  • Verify all compliance and regulatory documents are filed and kept up to date.
  • Log/track all change order estimates (or change order demands)
  • Compile a monthly rolled up statement for all activities
  • Update the safety dashboard on a weekly basis
  • Plan & coordinate scheduled maintenance well in advance.
  • There will be an on-call requirement after hours as needed
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance


  • Post-Secondary Education
  • 3+ years experience in an operational role handling multiple
    disciplines of duties and responsibilities


  • Facilities experience is an asset
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel experience
  • Experience in an Operational environment highly desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong and proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Superb time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule work
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
