The AT&T Sales Executive Lead overlay position is responsible for selling complex integrated solutions versus a product that support a Business customer’s strategic needs. The Sales Executive Lead must confidently run demos and give presentations to customer prospects, identify personalized buying obstacles and craft personalized value propositions, negotiate actual terms, and close the deal.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

Responsible for selling complex wireless and IOT products that are powered and secured by the company network. Sales quota based role with both an individual and group-based allocation and supports the sales efforts of team peers and other direct sellers by leveraging product, industry, and/or technology expertise. As an overlay sales specialist, the role requires a proactive and  persistency to cultivate and identify leads and opportunities. Lead sourcing will require collaboration with Product and Sales, as well as presenting in internal as well as external forums as an expert in the implementation and application of wireless and IOT across multiple platforms and vendors.  

1. Customized solutions at scale that are leveragable and repeatability on a wider scale of customers

2. Demonstrates expert knowledge of new and emerging products and/or application services. 

3. Provides deep technical expertise on wireless network, wireless devices and applications for complex and increasingly global solutions

3. Provides guidance and leadership as part of an integrated, multi-functional team  

4. Cross industry knowledge – key industries include Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, Transportation, etc

5. Knowledge and experience developing and selling Go To Market solutions for B2B and B2B2C scenarios

Applies sales skills to engage and close opportunities with decision-makers. Ensures proper transition of a deal to post sales implementation teams though engagement on a project can last throughout the lifecycle of a project.  Deals may also involve a long sales cycle. Viewed as an expert in the B2B and B2B2C wireless and IOT field. Assists less experienced peers and partners with Account Managers to close more complex sales involving high level interfaces. May take the lead in identifying new opportunities. 

Strong written and verbal skills are a must to document and present to customers at a working team level or to executive levels. Demonstrates strong customer interface skills and is technically credible working in a sales environment. Work deliverables includes: customer proposals,  pricing and contracting. Required to maintain a baseline of industry knowledge to advise on technical trends and techniques and apply them to the development of solutions.


Education: A bachelors degree is preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of direct work experience.
