The office of the CTO has been tasked with technology transformation for the firm. This includes leading and managing the cloud, Agile implementation, engineering, architecture, and all of the tools, products, and training that will enable team members to achieve our transformation.

The CTO Agile Transformation team office is responsible for leading overall strategy, planning, scoping, analysis and execution of the Wells Fargo Technology Agile strategy. This office will interact and partner with senior WFT leaders and utilize strong influencing, relationship and leadership skills, coupled with thought leadership to drive strategic Agile Transformation in support of transformational goals and business metrics.


We are hiring a Systems Operations Engineer to join the Atlassian platform team within CTO. The Systems Operations Engineer will assist in delivering enterprise capabilities that improve overall availability and support of Jira and Confluence applications, ensuring that Wells Fargo products and services we provide are always on. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys and thrives on solving complex problems through innovation impacting change at scale. You will join a team of Systems Operations Engineers driving Technology's transformation by leveraging enterprise capabilities and products, launching new platforms, building tools, automating away complex issues, and integrating with the latest technology.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Provide customer support for Jira and Confluence applications within the CTO Atlassian instance portfolio.
• Configure Jira project standards that aid in the consolidation of application instances
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting
• Integrate GitHub repositories with Jira Software for developer traceability
- Identify opportunities for customer self-service and implement via knowledge base articles



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 5+ years of Jira administration experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Jira software, Confluence software or combination of both
  • 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
  • Strong team or technical leadership experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence solutions and implementations
  • Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence



Other Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in Confluence space export & import migrations
4+ years of Jira Service Desk/Jira Service Management administration experience



Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
