This exciting role offers opportunity to:

+ Provide engineering support to make new project launch smoothly and to achieve company’s sales objective.

+ Manage new projects. Work with OEM to develop product launch plan/schedule and coordinate inside company to meet the plan. Perform application engineering and product development on assigned new projects.

+ Collect and analyze OEM and Engine, motor, battery data.

+ Provide on-site support for software validation, performance calibration and tech support.

+ Follow up prototype truck/ bus field trial performance and lead on system optimization to meet customer requirements

+ Provide engineering support to service engineer on: system troubleshooting and problem solving

+ Listen to customers and develop ideas for product plan initiatives to meet market needs. Advocacy of customer satisfaction within the global organization.

+ Conduct new SW updates and training for customer at all levels

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or above

+ Minimum of 3 years’ related work experience in Automotive industry

+ Strong knowledge of heavy/Medium - duty engine, truck, bus or automotive, NEV drivetrain/ powertrain systems

+ Good analytical skills in the mechanical/electrical disciplines.

+ Strong communication skills with engine OEM, truck/ bus OEM and end user, work well with cross functional team. Results oriented.

+ Must be able to demonstrate knowledge/aptitude in engine and/or transmission control systems. Knowledge of SAE-J1939 vehicle communication system a plus.

+ Strong customer relations management and project management skills with respect to applications engineering

+ Trouble shooting and customer field problem solving, reliability engineering knowledge

+ Knowledge of truck and bus markets, and how end users use the customer’s equipment.

+ Strong skills working globally and communicate with global engineering team
