We are looking for Systems Integration and Test Engineers to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment supporting the development and execution of a satellite ground system program___s test program and test processes, including baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation. Candidates will be responsible for definition and execution of formal testing and regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline for their technical scope - driving program performance, coordination with the test manager of the test products, schedules, and resources.

The selected candidate must exhibit ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness to solve particularly complex problems involving a diverse set of engineering disciplines. The Integration & Test Engineer must have integration and test expertise and be capable of developing a strong rapport within the Raytheon program and the customer community

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $12K for a person with a TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle to include:
    • System integration and test planning and implementation for large scale systems using state-of-the-art technology
    • Technical Baseline Management
    • Management and integration of COTS/FOSS
    • Development of test architecture/framework
    • Preparation and reporting of program plans, schedules, and metrics
    • Specification of test verification requirements
    • Review and approval of integration and test procedures and plans
    • Use of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plans
    • Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk
    • Experience working in an Agile development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Systems Engineer, Integration and Verification teams
    • Familiar with Linux as well as scripting languages (Python, Perl)
    • Experience with DevSecOps, test automation, CI/CD Pipeline constructs for development, integration, test, and deployment of large-scale SW-centric systems
  • Experience developing test procedures that exercise interfaces external to the ground system being tested
  • Experience testing Command and Control software running on Windows and Linux based operating systems
  • Experience integrating, troubleshooting, problem isolation of software and hardware-based systems
  • Experience developing test procedures and tools that capture performance-based metrics in support of requirement sell-off
  • Experience transitioning newly deployed systems to the operations teams
  • Experience working across product teams in a complex multiple stakeholder environment
  • Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle models
  • Active and in-scope TS/SCI US security clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Systems Integration and/or Test Engineering experience on a large government ground system development contract delivering satellite command and control, mission management capabilities
  • Experience in Systems Integration process development and deployment
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experience using JIRA or similar tools

Education Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred); OR
  • 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred)
