Financial Analyst:


Morris Group Inc. is currently going through the exciting process of implementing a new ERP system and BI reporting tool.  With these two systems, we hope to revolutionize the way we do business and reporting.  We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter with a drive to learn new things and grow their knowledge and skills.  The Financial Analyst will support our executives, corporate office, and divisional offices with their financial reporting needs.  The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for standardizing reporting across divisions.   The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with strong technical skills, have strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment.    


·      Assist in the development and implementation of reporting in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365

·         Be a key member of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI implementation and rollout team

·         Develop and enhance management reporting

·         Coordinate standardized reporting across divisions

  • Create standard and ad hoc reports, reporting tools, and automated dashboards
  • Partner with IT in report development and modification to increase report automation and ease of use by end users
  • Work closely with the leaders of Data Governance and Business Intelligence to ensure accurate data and reporting

·         Share best practices in financial reporting across the company and its divisions

·         Train and guide other users in reporting creation and generation across Microsoft platforms

·         Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

·         Help leadership make informed data-base decisions

·         Reach out to leaders across company to utilize the new systems to meet ever growing reporting needs


·         Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):

·         BS in Accounting or Finance

·         2-5 years of related experience

·         Strong technical skills including advanced Excel

·         Experience in Accounting and Finance

·         Experience with reporting and database software

·         Experience working in an ERP system

·         Experience with Microsoft BI or other business intelligence and analytics software a plus

·         Analytical with Attention-to-Detail

·         Self-Starter with excellent problem-solving skills

·         Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across divisions and departments

·         Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

·         Familiarity with Data Query/Data Management tools a plus
