Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary The Associate Director of Open Programs major purpose is to drive participation and enrollments into Olin Business Schoolâ™s open programs, which comprise day-long to multiple session educational experiences targeting mid- and upper-level corporate managers. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Develops relationships with corporate contacts (HR and line), as well as individual prospects, to build recruitment pipelines for Olin Executive Education open programs. Annual revenue, margin, and surplus targets to be provided by the Director of Executive Education. In coordination with the Executive Education team, manages delivery of and provides support services (students/clients/faculty) and program management to all Executive Programs in preparation of and during program sessions.   Develops, manages, and executes sales/outreach plans to build recruitment pipelines for Olin Executive Education open programs. This requires working with other Olin departments (e.g., Brookings, Academic Centers, Marketing, IT). Works with internal staff to develop, maintain and execute annual schedules of programs and associated program budgets, recruits faculty and presenters to deliver the programs, and obtains required information from faculty and presenters to market the programs. Working Conditions This person must be able to travel locally and out of town and work evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications Business education and an advanced degree, e.g., MBA, preferred. Three-five years business development experience, preferably in consulting and/or higher education. Prior sales & business development experience and associated contact list. Interpersonal communication (both oral and written) and social skills at levels expected by senior managers & executive clients. Self-motivated. Attention to detail. Problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to acquire additional application proficiencies. Client service orientation and the ability to manage multiple corporate relationships. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to travel in support of program and/or outreach activities. Required Qualifications Bachelorâ™s degree and three to five yearsâ™ experience in sales and business development. Grade G13 Salary Range $62,000.00 - $106,000.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
