Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

·       Setup and complete drilling, taping, counter boring, counter sinking, sanding, de-burring

·       Operate multiple machines such as drill presses, hand mills, land lathes , sanders

·       Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and Punch Press

·       Tap, countersink, counter bore, and de-burr with respect to drill presses, hand mills, CNC mills, CNC lathes, hand mills, hand lathes, Turret Press and Punch Press

·       Use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments including calipers, mics, depth mics, and eye gages

·       May train new employees in job duties and responsibilities; may assist employee with questions, problems, and interpretation of specification, routers, blueprints, inspection equipment and other documents

·       Setup, operate, modify the offset and edit programs for CNC Mills, or CNC Lathe, or CNC Turret Press with limited or no direct supervision

·       Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications

·       Write software by utilizing computer aided programming software

·       Working knowledge of blueprint interpretation and the construction of 3-D models.  

·       Must also be able to utilize IGES files provided by engineering and have proficient knowledge of all manufacturing equipment processes and work closely with manufacturing and design engineers

·       Run and program multiple CNC and run multiple manual machines


  • ·       Must possess a high school diploma or GED

    ·       Minimum of 7 years experience in machining and 3 years of programming

    ·       Demonstrated proficiency in Smart Cam, Master Cam, GD&T and DNC system

    ·       Vocational training in fabrication equipment operation, assembly, general manufacturing  and software design


  • ·         Machine Shop Technology program completion or certification

    ·         Ability to set up and machine a variety of parts

    ·         Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and the use of GD&T dimensioning

    ·         Working knowledge of basic inspection tools with the capability of inspecting parts prior to final QA 

    ·         Good writing and verbal communication skills, including basic computer knowledge

  • Additional Information:

    Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, and physical risks is anticipated.

    Person will be asked to work with acetone and alcohol.

    Training will be OJT (on the job) during first shift hours.

    Safety Glasses and Steel Toes are required
