Information Technology (IT) Auditor

POSITION SUMMARY

IT auditor position for a responsible person with experience and a desire to grow their auditing and IT knowledge as a key member of our internal audit team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Perform selected engagements of information systems, applications and related business processes to identify control weaknesses.

Participate in all phases of audit engagements, including planning, scheduling appointments, conducting interviews, writing process narratives, identifying financial and operational controls, evaluating controls, completing test work, and identifying deficiencies.

Obtain, analyze, and assess information from multiple data sources. Document information gathered and methods used. Develop spreadsheets used for data analysis and reconciliation. Develop, track, and maintain IT Audit projects.

Learn and help develop customer understanding of IT risks and ensure mitigation of noted exposures through facilitation of action plans.

Assist in developing effective communication of findings and control concepts both verbally and in reports to bank management.

Participate in annual SOX and Regulatory testing with external auditors and examiners.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of IT and system applications experience

2+ years of IT audit experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

Must office in downtown Oklahoma City

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to excel in a team environment

Strong people skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Knowledge of banking industry and regulations

CISA or other professional certifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday

Long periods of typing and repetitive motion

Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 5 pounds
