Position Summary:

Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Health and Welfare benefit programs. Communicates and explains to employees benefits related information. Effectively communicates and collaborates with cross-functional teams such as HRIS, Payroll, IT, Finance, to improve efficiency and processes. Supports the goals and objectives of the Benefits Department around Health and Wellness. Adheres to federal and state laws that apply under Section 125 cafeteria plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform necessary changes to benefit deductions payroll file to ensure deductions load correctly into Workday. Complete data analysis of output files after the load, correct discrepancies, and process necessary payroll adjustments.
  • Perform various monthly reconciliation, processing of invoices and payment (Guardian IDI, Paylogix, Quest Diagnostics, Vitality, BPAS Fees) for various vendors to ensure business continuity and prevent any disruptions.
  • Perform timely weekly analysis, reconciliation and funding of employee Reimbursement and Health Savings Accounts.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation, data manipulation and analysis of benefit premium billing reports received from Alight for each vendor. Provides subset of reports from premium billing reports to Accounting and Vendors and submit check requests for payment.
  • Assist with Wellness program communications by developing, hosting and participating in quarterly presentations to wellness champion network, review, approval, and deployment of challenges, enhancements, and vendor management.
  • Review, research, and resolve HR and employee inquiries or escalated issues while adhering to plan provisions and Section 125 rules.
  • Assist with Annual Enrollment preparation and execution, including, but not limited to, review and editing of communication materials, AE project plan priorities execution, systems testing and validation of AE elections, FSA/HSA year end reconciliation and clearing arrears, post-AE payroll file load and clean-up.

Minimum Qualifications:

4-year degree in business or related field OR equivalent experience

2-4 years of benefits administration experience

Critical Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Excel to include V-Lookups and Pivot Tables

Workday experience required

Working knowledge of ERISA rules and regulations
