Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

These team members research, design, engineer, implement and support software and hardware information security systems. They utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions that protect the bank's assets while meeting client needs. In addition, they are responsible for major engineering milestones including requirements curation, test plan development and execution, implementation planning and the development execution and of capability runbooks. They exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results and may assign work to others and resolve problems. They typically have 5-7 years of information security technology experience.

Primary Level of Engagement: Works as a senior contributing member of one or multiple initiative(s), under supervision of engineering lead(s).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the identification, definition and documentation of system security requirements.
  • Drive the development and execution of test plans and produce quantitative results.
  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and data.
  • Leverage broad knowledge of information security technologies, techniques and processes and prepare to grow that knowledge within one or more security-engineering domains.
  • Drive complex technical information security projects to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Identify and raise risks or potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security engineering process.
  • Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in achieving requirements.
  • Think outside the box to develop and implement multiple solutions to complex problems.
  • Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

Required Skills:
  • Experience deploying security solutions in virtual environments such as VMWare, AWS, Azure
  • Experience and hands on knowledge with Data Loss Prevention security controls
  • Experience Web Proxy controls
  • Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization
  • Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to build consensus and cooperation as well as to influence, interact and negotiate with senior leadership in the organization
  • Knowledge of change and project management methodologies and principles and the ability to integrate them into project design
  • Broad knowledge of Information Security technologies, techniques and processes
  • Experience leading complex technical projects, meeting target timelines, facilitating project meetings, authoring project documentation, issue resolution, and project resource identification
  • Demonstrable ability to self-direct project outcomes, with minimal supervision to achieve program goals
  • Excellent process design capability to improve overall efficiency, mitigate resource conflicts, and improve customer/client experience
  • Knowledge and experience architecting complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions for data in transit across web, email and b2b environments. Including technology that provides proxy control, malware inspection, SSL termination, andData Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Solid experience with designing, evaluating and deploying network security solutions for outbound, inbound and lateral network traffic.
  • Experience engineering web content inspection solutions using tools such as McAfee Web Gateways, Bluecoat ProxySG, Radware Alteon, F5 LTM/APM/SSLO, Fireeye, NSX Defender (Lastline), and Proofpoint.
  • Experience deploying security solutions in email environments.
  • Experience integrating network security solutions with IAAS, PAAS and SAAS components such as Zscaler, O365, etc
  • Experience with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and DDoS
  • Experience with other third party network security controls such as Bluecoat, Fortigate, Checkpoint, Juniper, F5 ASM, Cisco, FireEye, F5, Radware, Zscaler, etc
  • CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or CEH
