Require an engineer for operational activities for data warehouse applications. The engineer will have a track record in client facing expertise, including effective communication, active listening, and in building strong partnerships. Position is responsible for driving data visualization, managing change and technical tool improvements for the Dev/Ops App Management Work Portfolio under the direction of functional leadership. The engineer will be responsible for application management activities including, but not limited to: leading remediation programs, driving tech governance/compliance and tech control assessment/audits, working with platform team to ensure timely remediation of platform vulnerabilities and defects. Additional duties may include application support activities. The person that fills this position will be a vital part of our team and will be responsible for implementing, managing and administering applications.
- Executing the application management activities as outlined for various critical bank applications.
- Develops and maintains strong partnerships with application teams, portfolio owners, and partners
- Managing change and technical tool improvements for the Dev/Ops App Management Work Portfolio under the direction of functional leadership.
- Drive effective data visualization solutions for reporting on application management activities across the portfolio.
- Identify and utilize best practices in the industry to maximize efficient and elegant solutions while minimizing cost
- Effectively work in a hybrid environment where legacy ETL and Data Warehouse applications and new big-data applications co-exist
- Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best in class technology to provide competitive advantage
- Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process
