Overall Purpose:

  • This position is responsible for the design and implementation of solutions supporting data driven virtual network orchestrations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to evaluate new, cutting edge technologies and apply them to existing solutions.

  • This role will design and implement common solutions applicable to multiple problem spaces as well as support team efforts with project deliverables.

  • Must understand the concept of pipelines, and how they apply specifically to CI/CD, and have a keen understanding of automation in a distributed architecture.

  • This role requires a software professional with both depth and breadth of technical expertise who can collaborate well across team and organizational boundaries, readily assume responsibility, follow through, and accomplish tasks with a minimal of management oversight.

  • Must be comfortable working in a Dev Ops environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • Full stack development expertise as a contributor and reviewer thereof.

  • Software Design and Implementation – Java (8, 11),  SQL, ROBOT, Groovy, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes, Restful API, CodeCloud/Git repo, Jenkins and plugins, Maven dependencies, Microservice Design Patterns, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm based deployments, Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD),  IDEs (e.g., ECLIPSE), SAFe Agile,  Azure Fundamentals.  A Plus:  Azure certification(s), ServiceNow, ArgoCD, Camunda, BPMN, AAF, Openstack (heat templates, service APIs), Helm, Angular/AngularJS, Casandra, Graph DB, virtual network orchestrations, TOSCA models, ‘As-A-Service’ models.

  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions working in a DevOps/Scaled Agile development environment with two-week sprint cycles.

  • Critical thinker, who is willing to troubleshoot issues and collaborate within and across team boundaries.

Education:

  • PhD in an approved field from an approved university or Masters in an approved field from an approved university or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university.
