Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operations Analyst.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Perlmutter Cancer Center (PCC) Analytics Team by, planning, organizing, and executing operational analyses and decision support activities including recording, analyzing and reporting operations related information. This position performs in depth analysis of workflows, data collection and report details.

Job Responsibilities:

1.       Prepares and assists with data management around current and future payors for Oncology Bundled Payment arrangements and internal Value Based Management initiatives.

2.       Prepares operations-related reports including but not limited to patient volumes, telephone utilization, expense reports and Beacon reports. Proposes suggestions and solutions to Assistant Director of Analytics.

3.      Generates reports and deliver to necessary parties on the progress of operations, patient volumes, and clinical outcomes. 

4.      Assists in updating PCC RVUs, MD utilization, Outcome measures, University Healthcare Consortium (UHC) data, and various other ad hoc operational analyses.  Provides written analytical insight and summaries as needed.

5.      Assists with data manipulation/loads into MS Excel/ Access for volume, clinical analyses, financial analyses, patient registries, and other ad hoc data analyses. 

6.       Provides automated solutions to enhance efficiency where applicable.

7.       Collaborates with PCC clinical and operations leaders in the development of ad hoc analyses to assist with decision making. This includes supporting the implementation of scorecards/dashboards for individual departments as necessary.

8.      Interprets monthly operational results identifying trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.

9.      Transforms/interprets operations reports and requirements into actionable insights for the PCC Management Team.

10 Keep abreast of new developments, techniques and methods regarding technical solutions in supporting the different reports and systems.

11.     Assist Manager with adhoc analyses and special projects.  Ensure requested and related information is accurate, complete, and appropriate for presentation to PCC Leadership.

Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Proficient in EPIC, ARIA, Mosaiq and other radiation oncology information systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Complies with regulatory requirements appropriate for position.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment with minimal supervision.
Must be sufficiently knowledgeable in all Microsoft office applications.
Must be able to generate moderately complex reports and multimedia presentations.
Bachelors Degree in a Business or Health Related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a Business or Health Related field.
Operations related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
