Product Owner

Job Description:

We are currently hiring for a talented Product Owner to join a leading Fortune 500 (#109) IT company.

You’ll be joining the company at an exciting time as due to an acquisition strategy, are currently in the process of IT transformation with a focus on improving technology, converting legacy applications, and enhancing user experience.

The Product Owner will be responsible for maintaining the roadmap of application development activities for a variety of systems to support our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ability to act as the key point of contact between the business & development team
  • Gather requirements and produce user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Groom and prioritise the product backlog
  • The ability to communicate and manage expectations with stakeholders, ensuring priorities are visible to the team
  • Set sprint goals and define overall product vision
  • Plan releases and upgrades


  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Accuracy & attention to detail
  • Establishes effective working relationships at all levels
  • Strives for excellence and highly motivational to get the best from the team

Key skills should include:

  • Minimum 3 years within a Product Owner role
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable skills and experience in:

  • Product Owner certification
  • Quality Assurance and testing
  • Functional consultant experience
  • Business analyst experience
  • MS Dynamics AX
  • Azure DevOps toolset experience (Backlog & Pipelines)
  • Design Mocups
