BI/Reporting Engineer I

Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
  • Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models.
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
  • Excellent Business User communication skill.
  • Other BI Tools with OBIEE or Power BI experience a plus
  • Oracle EBS functional or technical experience is a plus.

What We Are Looking For

  • We are looking for 6+ years of Informatica developer who has worked on support/enhancement and the development project.

Informatica Power Center 10.2.0:

  • Should be good in understating complex mappings and applying partitions to improve performance at workflow level
  • Should have good knowledge on understand existing business logic by reverse engineering to provide appropriate solutions
  • Good hands on experience in creating all in INFORMATICA objects
  • Good experience in understanding different layers and handling large scale data through complex INFORMATICA mappings

Writing Complex SQL Queries:

  • Should be good in writing and understating complex logic specified in source qualifier sequels
  • Should have good knowledge in running execution planning on sequels and applying indexes to improves performance

Unix Shell Scripting:

  • Good in understanding defined logic in existing shell programs
  • Good in creating INFOTMATICA parameter files and running working through UNIX

Data Warehousing:

  • Should have good knowledge in dimensional modeling and Data warehousing concepts
  • ability to understand data from heterogeneous sources and data integration
  • Data Mapping, Data Modeling, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing/Mart

Relational Database:

  • Should have good knowledge in understanding application ER model.
  • Should be good in understanding database views and procedures.
  • Other BI Tools with OBIEE or Power BI experience a plus
  • Oracle EBS functional or technical experience is a plus.
