Job Summary

Across the Claims Organization, we are focused on driving towards the future of Claims through elimination, optimization, and automation. There is a need within our organization to have experienced design thinkers,problem solvers,user experience evangelist and process experts with a bias towards simplification.

The Process Design Engineering leader has a keen eye for simplification with bias towards process and experience redesign. This role will simplify processes to enable customer and employee self-service and touchless claims processing, where appropriate. This role requires the skills and experience to lead an organization through change management and is ultimately responsible for designing, developing and implementing initiatives that align with Claims strategic direction and supports corporate strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate bias for simplification by identifying andprioritizing key processes ripe for disruption that will deliver the highest impact to customer experience and strategic imperatives
  • Catalog future state design blueprints through cross-functional design thinking sessions that clearly state problem and opportunity statements and targeted outcomes.
  • Ensure future state process and experience design are digital ready, enabling self-service where applicable
  • Orchestrate execution plans that align with strategic roadmap in partnership with Innovation, customer experience, line of business design partners, technology and data & analytics
  • Demonstrate a player coach style of leadership to influence the organization to embrace design thinking and continuous improvement
  • Drive organization to a simplified end state, measured by reduced employee and customer effort

  • Customer and User Experience Practitioner
  • Digital Product Design is a plus


Compensation Data

The compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000 per year and includes a bonus, based on experience and qualifications

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
