Role Details:

This BI Analyst will be responsible for developing and generating reports, insights, & analysis across multiple systems, focused on content discovery and content performance. You will be expected to identify business, content strategy and product opportunities, challenges, and trends and be able to communicate your findings effectively to a variety of stakeholders in the content and product vertical. This role will be primarily focused on data analysis work related to Paramount+

Your Day-to-Day:

Define and deliver KPIs and reporting, that will inform product and content strategy

Write SQL to query a data warehouse (BigQuery) for data in order to answer questions from various partners in the product vertical, focused on (but not limited to) content discovery, performance and features

Collaborate with measurement operations and data teams to ensure appropriate tracking is in place to perform needed reporting and analysis

Present insights and recommendations to the business in a clear, confident and understandable manner

Utilize reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau, Data Studio and Adobe Analytics to create dashboards that allow non-data savvy users to generate insights and answer questions in a self-service fashion

Research industry trends and communicate how these could potentially impact the business

Key Projects (examples):

  • Conduct reporting and analyses to service product and content strategy needs
  • Build dashboards (using Tableau and other BI tools) that illustrate how key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are changing over time
  • Refine reports, dashboards, and insights based on the needs of a rapidly changing business
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting initiatives
  • Develop our standard reporting for product and content KPIs and questions
  • Perform Ad Hoc analysis on specific business problems and summarize findings in an accurate, concise, easy-to-understand manner


You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years experience in digital marketing/entertainment sector
  • Can provide accurate information in a usable form and on a timely basis.
  • Demonstrable experience in translating data into insights in a clear and succinct manner, adjusting to a variety of styles and audiences
  • Expert in SQL
  • Knowledgeable in Tableau; Adobe Analytics; Data Studio
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Great presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts to partners at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment, against tight deadlines
  • Interest in television, entertainment and pop culture
  • Must successfully pass a background check

You might also have:

  • Strong mathematics, statistics background
  • Experience using project management tools like those from Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
  • Experience with A/B Testing
  • A background in SVOD or other subscription-based digital services
