As part of the Advanced Technology Centers, we deliver tomorrow's innovations to our clients today. This position is for a Data Integration & Migration Lead who is expected to be a thought leader in the Data Engineering space—looking for a technologist and at the same time someone passionate about mentoring junior team members. Someone experienced in roles like data engineer, data architect, data developer, cloud solution architect. Someone experienced in building data systems with Cloud tools and services to support various client use cases. As a member of ATC-Tampa Data & AI capability, you will be primarily responsible for working closely with our junior data engineers to architect solutions from ideation through execution, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies in delivering custom and scalable solutions.

The Work (Role Responsibility)

+ Organize and lead project activities for data ingestion, orchestration, storage, transformation, and migration pipelines

+ Provide hands-on technical expertise to implement and operationalize cloud data systems

+ Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather business requirements, define the future state, and translate those into detailed designs

+ Develop data processing jobs using traditional and distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, and Dataflow

+ Ensure the team adopts best practices in designing and developing data systems from data models, ETL/ELT, storage, analytics, and visualization

+ Mentor, motivate and support a team of data engineers to achieve project objectives

+ Work under senior project leadership and ensure all work is aligned with the project's strategic direction.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications:

+ A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing cloud data and analytics solutions using Google Cloud Platform

+ A minimum of 3 years of experience with Python, SQL and/or Unix/Linux shell scripting

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field required. Advanced degree is a strong plus

+ Experienced with ingestion, stream and batch processing, data infrastructure design. building data pipelines and related services in GCP

+ Experienced with parallel processing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce

+ Familiarity with Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning

+ Experienced with relational and non-relational databases

+ Experience with Control M is a plus

+ Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment

+ Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
