Digital and Automated Investing 

The Wells Fargo Advisors Digital & Automated Investing (D&AI) business is comprised of a dynamic and fast paced team responsible for attracting the next generation investor and deepening client relationships through Wells Fargo partnerships, competitive digital investing offerings, and approximately 150 Financial Advisors centrally located in St. Louis, Charlotte, and Salt Lake City. 

This role is specifically for a Digital Advice Manager in our Charlotte location. As a Digital Advice Manager, you will lead a team of Licensed Financial Advisors who provide our clients with remote investment advice within a call center environment.

  • Developing and utilizing appropriate metrics to drive business results
  • Enabling your team to drive outstanding client outcomes (growth, retention, satisfaction) by connecting them to D&AI’s vision and fostering a culture of accountability
  • Developing and coaching employees to engage clients, assess current financial portfolio, and recommend changes in product, platform, or behavior to existing Wells Fargo clients. 
  • Monitors Key Performance Indicators (Client Engagement Index scores, Quality Assurance reviews, Call Center reporting metrics, and campaign lead management) and formulates action plans to ensure behaviors in line with business objectives and initiatives. 
  • Identifies, develops and retains top talent and performance manages underperforming Advisors.
  • Responsible for interviewing, assessing, and providing input in the selection process of sourced candidates. 
  • Supports implementation of various business projects and initiatives.
  • Promotes employee engagement and champions change to drive adoption of newly implemented products, platforms, or business objectives. 
  • Promotes firm image in the community through volunteerism and community engagement.

  • Motivating, recognizing and developing employees through proactive management and ongoing coaching and feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, skill development, action planning, and objective setting.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management experience within brokerage or financial services
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 66 (or 63, 65) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

  • Business development management experience in a high volume, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment

Job Expectations

  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
  • Registration for FINRA Series 9/10 and 66 must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
