The Investment Implementation Specialist team is a one-stop-shop for strategy, research, and portfolio construction guidance.  This team of professionals has decades of investment experience and consults with Financial Advisors on how to bring together the strategy and research from the Investment Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) and correspondent research providers into a portfolio. The role includes the support of investment guidance technology and implementation vehicles, and broad suite of portfolio analysis and review services.  The Investment Implementation Specialists serve as the internal resource to assist Financial Advisors deliver quality investment guidance to all investors.

In this role, the WIM Practices and Business Development Consultant 1 will support senior Investment Implementation Specialist team members with consulting with Financial Advisors on strategy, research and asset allocation when constructing balanced portfolios.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a liaison across the Investment Solutions COE in the development of content related to strategy, research and advice.

Consulting with Financial Advisors in the implementation of investment products and research by:

  • Effectively communicating with subject matter experts across the Investment Solutions COE
  • Connecting investment themes and recommendations to appropriate products and solutions
  • Contributing to producing market commentary and news items of interest for Investment Solutions publications utilized by Financial Advisors and their clients

The ability to work with others in a fast paced phone based environment, consistently meet production deadlines and attention to detail are all essential to this role.

Given the team’s production schedule, the start time for this position is 6:00 a.m. CT. 

 



Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business development or financial services consulting
  • 1+ years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting



Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Brokerage or wealth management experience
  • FINRA registration including Series 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
  • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree or higher
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation



Job Expectations

  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Registration for FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65) must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
