**Electrical Systems Engineer (EPBU Current Product Support)**

**Description**

We are looking for a talented **Electrical Systems Engineer (EPBU Current Product Support)** to join our team specializing in **Engineering** for our **New Power Business Unit** in **Columbus, IN** / **home office.** (Hybrid)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Support battery and system component issues of electric vehicles using a multidisciplinary approach – this will involve broad engineering expertise, including mechanical, electrical, systems, software, and process design.

+ Lead current product issue resolution related to system software, electrical hardware, controls, and calibration. Work closely with software development team to define requirements for software change and validate released software per program requirements.

+ Support component level, sub-system and system level testing for performance, reliability, and durability.

+ Support system validation and field tests - Participate in in-depth analysis of field test data.

+ Develop validation test methods and protocols. Use DOE best practices.

+ Generate technical reports and presentations as needed with the ability to present information in a clear and organized manner.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ Electrical distribution and high voltage electrical systems knowledge

+ Experience with MATLAB and Simulink

+ Customer/Supplier interfacing experience

+ Understanding of battery management systems

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
