Job Description
The Sr. Consultant, Retail Rx FP&A will be responsible for pharmacy sales and margin analytics with an emphasis on partnering with various groups across the organization regarding profitability improvement initiatives and therapy mix trends. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills that is capable of leading multiple projects and has a track record of successfully collaborating with business partners in order to produce high-quality financial analyses. As part of these partnerships, the Sr. Consultant will work collaboratively on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting related to profitability improvement initiatives, ensuring assumptions and financial measurement / tracking aligns with anticipated P&L impacts. In addition to the analytics noted above, this position will conduct ad hoc analyses and provide support on special projects, initiatives, and complex analyses in partnership with other members of the broader Pharmacy FP&A team and Pharmacy Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacy margin analytics related to business performance and profitability trends

• Work independently on assigned objectives and priorities in close partnership with key business areas

• Lead projects partnering directly with various groups such as Payer Relations and Enterprise Economics

• Develop and further enhance financial measurement and tracking for new pharmacy margin improvement opportunities

• Work collaboratively on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting related to profitability improvement initiatives

• Oversee complex analytical projects both as an individual contributor and through cross-functional team collaboration

• Assist with special projects and provide pharmacy FP&A support to the broader Retail FP&A team

Required Qualifications
3 or more years of professional finance work experience

Preferred Qualifications
4 – 5 years of professional finance work experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

MBA

Healthcare / Pharmacy industry work experience

Microsoft Excel experience using functions such as PivotTables, VLookup, Filters, etc.

Microsoft Access and PowerPoint experience

Education
Bachelor's Degree required
