Home Lending Servicing Technology team is seeking a Software Engineer with extensive Java based experience to provide application development and maintenance support for internally developed applications. The role requires deep knowledge of all aspects related to development of complex business applications in Java using Angular framework in a PCF cloud environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
  • Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to teammates
  • Engineer Web Pages, Core Components and Common Services in alignment with development models, languages, and standards
  • Produce Design Documents
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with Product Owner, Architect in an Agile and collaborative environment following all the agile methodologies and scrum ceremonies 
  • Design & develop microservices with Springboot, Java, Junit, JSON, and Restful Services 
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments
  • Debug and document existing systems through code analysis
  • Contribute to Application management activities such as Business continuity, SDLC activities, technical refresh support, critical surveys, analysis, platform releases, patching, vulnerabilities, and system management support for Technology mandates
  • Follow Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) while developing new features and refactoring existing code
  • Work with Jenkins and CI/CD tools to automate development, build, deployment, and testing
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and technologies that enhance operations and provide competitive edge to the organization 


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5 + years of J2EE experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Knowledge or experience of containerization related management stacks with Docker, Swarm or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
  • 2 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), TFS (Team Foundation Server) GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Blackduck 
  • Experience with one or more Cloud platforms: AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Azure
  • Knowledge and understanding of secure coding practices




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
AZ-Chandler: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
TX-DAL-Downtown Dallas: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
NC-Raleigh: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
