Job Title: Multi-Skilled Technician

Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with an either a HVAC or electrical trade background to manage and lead the technical service delivery and compliance. As part of a small site-based maintenance team. Candidates must have hands on experience in dealing with a multi skilled maintenance service, with a bias towards either electrical/HVAC maintenance. The role covers 2 Dublin based locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintenance Multi-skilled Technician -

• Planned preventative maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical systems

• Complete all site fabric and lighting repairs

• Reactive repairs ensuring minimum downtime on equipment

• Proactive customer engagement

• Manage the work order management system - Service Insight

• Contractor management. Includes delivering inductions, support scheduling, reviewing service reports and managing reactive works

• Managing safety - Capable of issuing PTW / ATW's, reviewing RAMS accepting SSoW's

• Meet service level agreements, and KPI's and respond to emergency breakdowns across site

• Ensure all QHSE requirements (PTW / ATW / SSoW /RAMS acceptance) are fulfilled prior to work commencing

• Ability to complete handyman tasks as required

• Specify and order materials as needed for works and ensure stock levels of critical spares are kept updated

• Problem solving ensuring a solution for all required repairs in a timely manner

• Liaise with helpdesk, Management and customers with updates on a daily basis

• Manage subcontractors onsite to ensure a comprehensive contractor management system, including H&S

• Positively and actively contribute to and participate in continuous improvement activities in the team

• Working as part of a team on multi-disciplined projects

• High standard of housekeeping, material handling and safety at all times

• Certification and experience in IS3217 Emergency light testing desirable

• Manage time across 2 sites ensuring high standards are maintained on M&E systems

Person Specification

• Trade qualified Electrician or HVAC Engineer

• Must be client focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Have experience in completing and operating to method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Actions and Permits associated with their work activities

• Have completed H&S training

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Flexibility to work outside normal hours if required

• Ability to complete paperwork and reports to high standards

• Enthusiastic approach to work

• Neat appearance and manner

• IT literacy an advantage, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office
