We are looking for a talented Senior Platform Design Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Engine Business Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Component Ownership – delivering all phases of design including concept design, development, verification/validation, release

+ Incorporating cross functional input to developing the best solutions

+ Driving simulation to meet program deliverables

+ Supporting manufacturing and incorporating feedback

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ Prior entry level engineering equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required. Knowledge of MS Office and CREO tools is preferred

+ College/University degree required

+ 2 years relevant work history

+ Risk management tools including DFMEA, FTA, 7 Step Problem Solving (FIRG)

+ Ability to find creative solution to complex engineering problems

**Compensation and Benefits**

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
