Requisition Number: 2018 - 284 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Int Med Cardiovascular Med 50000584 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: The Division of Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) in Omaha, Nebraska is recruiting dynamic Cardiologists to join our rapidly growing academic clinical practice. As a full time faculty member, the successful applicant will contribute to patient care, medical education and scholarship and join a vibrant, diverse and distinguished community of faculty colleagues. The prospective faculty member will enjoy a highly balanced work and call schedule consisting of outpatient and inpatient clinical services along with dedicated imaging laboratory assignments. Ample opportunities exist to engage in various research and education activities within the College of Medicine, residency and fellowship programs. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Cardiology. To build upon expertise in advanced multi-modality imaging that already exists within the Division, we are seeking candidates with Level II training in echocardiography . Required Qualifications: MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent. Board certified or Board eligible. Supplemental Qualifications: Level 2 training in echocardiography Salary Range: commensurate on experience
